"Etiquette is about
so much more than which fork to choose at dinner."
who desire to increase their confidence and raise their social intelligence, while disrupting perceived mediocrity.
In this safe and accepting community, we challenge conventional thinking and redefine irrelevant, outdated etiquette traditions to embrace authenticity and encourage individuality, with the intent to upset negative stereotypes about women, people of color, and other underrepresented minorities.
At the School of Disruptive Etiquette, we embrace the Disruptive Etiquette movement and put the movement to action. We teach rising leaders how to increase their confidence and accelerate their career through soft skills, executive presence, authentic confidence, and organic relationships.
Disruptive Etiquette is
Being self-aware of how your actions affect others and how their actions affect you.
Becoming socially intelligent to make the best decisions consistently in different situations.
Being cognizant of your surroundings, and understanding behavior and actions
Disruptive Etiquette is more than learning “which fork to use.” It is about:
In this empire, we own the room with our powerful presence, charisma, and gravitas. . . oh yeah, and we look hella fly while doing it.
In this empire, we demand more than just a seat at the table, but to be heard at the table too. We use our voice because being silenced is not an option.
In this empire, we welcome and embrace everyone's authenticity, honor every truth, and respect each person’s developing power. We meet people where they are, and show unconditional love to all. Period.
The dream is to build an empire of savvy young leaders who annihilate negative stereotypes, crash glass ceilings, and crush the status quo.
A woman wearing a tux in 1950 was unimaginable. Today, it is a fashion statement.
When people hear the word “etiquette,” they immediately think of a list of rules - being polite, manners, tea and crumpets, classical music, lifted pinkies and elaborate table settings.
But let’s face it. Times are changing and things are a lot different than they were back then. So why are people still teaching outdated “stuffy” etiquette?
Our world is changing. Social norms are shifting, and obsolete rules are being challenged.
Not Yo Mama’s Etiquette
The idea of Disruptive Etiquette is to go beyond just the “dos and don’ts” and “please and thank you.”
We teach social intelligence, and how etiquette can help you to get ahead in your career, achieve fulfilling professional relationships, experiences, and overall success.
We Don’t “Do” Manners
Most of all, Disruptive Etiquette is centered on
We believe in respecting yourself and others, and challenging others to do the same.
