Hi - I’m Toni the Etiquette Empress, and it is my dream to build an empire of confident, socially savvy young professionals.
I’m an etiquette consultant who is slightly (and by slightly I mean really) obsessed with helping people increase their social intelligence and discover ways to respect each other more.
Most people associate etiquette with being boring, or that it is only for fancy-pants special occasions with tea, crumpets, and raised pinky fingers.
Or they believe etiquette is a long list of stale, outdated, irrelevant “dos and don’ts” + pointless rules.
Well, that ends today.
You’re invited to BYOB Etiquette Class and yes, you can drink! - The Red Cup Happy Hour is a casual free-flowing convo to discuss the etiquette topic for the episode, similar to a networking event or happy hour.
Check being politically correct with your coat at the door, get yourself a drink and join us for real reactions and real convo = no filters. Skip the fancy glass and use the nearest cup - a red cup, a beer can, you can even drink out the bottle if you’d like(!), but . . . let’s discuss etiquette that really matters.
Following happy hour is dinner with a special guest. Inspired by the 1960’s classic American movie, Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner is a 1:1 interview with a subject matter expert, industry professional, or representative/advocate of a community, who will share first-hand details about their knowledge or experience.
It is a free pass for any and all questions to be asked and answered - no judgment, shame, or hesitation on either side. Advice will also be given from the source for navigating common situations to avoid awkwardness and unintentional disrespect.

Part I:
When people think of etiquette, they automatically think of dining etiquette = forks and food. I used this common answer as inspiration to model the podcast in a way that reflects a basic experience we all share as humans and have in common - eating! And meals and drinks are where the BEST conversations and connections happen.
